Climate change is here — tallying the cost of inaction

An EF-3 tornado leveled the Pfizer plant in North Carolina in July 2023.

On August 3, Pfizer notified the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that 12 drugs are on emergency order due to their high medical need that are in short supply due to the tornado loss.
